Where has the time gone?!
Hey Guys and Gals!
I really must apologize for the lack of activity on my part here on dA. It's not that I don't wanna, believe me! My transition from part-time to full-time has been quite the adventure, but I passed the one year mark and I feel confident that things will only get better from here on out. I could not have accomplished this without your support. You have my thanks and I hope that I can continue to hold up my end of the bargain (that's making and painting cool stuff, right?? hehe).
This year has already gone by so quick, largely in part to many projects and commissions which, good or bad, take up an extreme amount of my t
Business Expansion
Hey Folks!
Thank you very much for checking out my dA gallery. What started as a hobby many years ago has turned into a full-blown business for me and I owe it all to the support of people like yourself. For this I am eternally grateful.
With the addition of an extra 40 hours a week to dedicate to making cool stuff, I'm actively looking for new ideas as to what to work on. I've also increased the number of commercial projects which should yield some cool props. If you have any suggestions please let me know in the comments!
In the meantime, I'll be adding a lot more "non-weapon" props such as armor, helmets, and various gadgets/acces
Convention Season
Hi Everyone!
As often happens with convention season (it's starting to seem like more of an all year thing these days!), I've had to keep my focus on getting projects finished and keeping to hard deadlines (which is not what I signed on for, Sarge! hehe). I shuld know of previous years that my spring and summer ususally get gobbled up, but this year has been that X10. It's giving me the opportunity to work with some really talented folks as well as projects that I couldn't have attempted with the small shop I had been occupying. So long story short is as soon as I can get around to editing and posting photos, there's going to be a lot of
Commissions Welcome
I've received a number of questions as to whether I take commission requests, so I thought it would make a good Journal entry :) The answer is that I most certainly do. In fact, most of the things you see me post are commissions from people with outstanding taste (hehe). I can get just about anything made if you have the money to fund it!
I can be reached most easily by my email, Johnsonarms76@gmail.com. Sometimes I am super-fast to respond to emails, . It can sometimes take me a few days to respond, but that's usually me doing a bit of research before I respond to ya.&
